With the winter coming up, it’s time to optimize your menu for the holiday season. Holidays are the perfect time to offer customers drinks specials such as themed Halloween mixes, eggnog cocktails, and all sorts of other wonderful creations. The only problem is this: with so many options coming in and out of season so fast, you’re going to be changing your menu frequently. With this difficulty in mind, we at Podia Displays would like to take this month’s blog post to prepare you for the ever-changing holiday season using Podia retail signage.
Easy Sanitation After Winter Holiday Celebrations
When you wrap up your holiday celebrations, we at Podia know that there will be more than a little cleaning to do, regardless of your industry. For that reason, podia image capsules are designed to be easily cleaned within a matter of moments. Simply take a cleaning wipe to the outside of the image capsule, and the display should be clean in a matter of seconds.
Once you’re done, changing out your display is just as easy. After you’ve printed out the next image or menu you want to display, simply remove the base of the podia and extract the paper presently inside. Then, give your new paper a fold in half, insert it into the display, and reattach the base. Just like that, you’ve cleaned your podia display and readied it for the next holiday jamboree.
Or, if you understandably find yourself too tired or busy to clean your podia displays manually, simply add them to your dishwasher! Podia tabletop displays are designed to withstand your standard dishwasher and can be cleaned along with your dishes. If you choose to do so, however, we just recommend that you be aware of small (impermanent) water spots that can form when using this method.
Creating Holiday Inserts Using Microsoft Word
Now that your podia display is all nice and clean, it’s time to create an insert for it. Podia tabletop displays are specially designed for easy inserts, which can be made and customized with only a few simple steps. All you’ll need is a word processing software (such as Microsoft Word) and access to a printer.
In Microsoft Word, the first thing you’ll want to do is set the margins on the document to ¼ of an inch. This is so there’s not all that unnecessary extra white space on your final display.
Next, you’re going to want to set a ½ inch center margin on your document. That way, the graphic can be cleanly folded over without obscuring your wonderful design.
Once these steps are completed, simply print, fold, and insert! Just like that, you have a fresh and updated display.
